What happens if there is too much copper in your pool? Is it a disadvantage and if so how is it treated ?

The most common disadvantage is pool staining. Unlike iron or organic stains, it can be quite difficult to remove. There is also the potential for swimmers to experience hair color changes and fingernail discoloration too. See the link below for more info.

Water exchange. That's the best way to remove the copper content then ensure you don't' use any copper-based products in the future.
