Contractor disconnected my pump and I can’t figure out how to hook it back up.

Had a contractor do some work this winter. When doing so he disconnected my pump, heater, and chlorine generator. I have figured out everything but the pump. The black and red wires in my hand come from the pump. Can anyone help?

Chart on the door shows filter pump relay is upper left. What is currently connected to the load terminals? SWG? Yellow and white wires look like they go to SWG transformer.

If so, black and red pump power wires should also be connected to filter pump relay. That way pump and SWG are always on or off together.

Sammy,

Allen is correct, but just to add a couple of things..

The second breaker from the top is the 20 amp 240 volt breaker for your pump.. The breaker feeds the line side of the Pump/Filter relay. The bottom lug on the breaker is currently connected by the red wire to the relay.. The single black wire in your last pic needs to be connected to the top lug of the pump breaker. The other end is already connected to the line side of the relay.

As Allen points out the red and black wires from the pump need to be connected to the load side of the pump filter relay along with the Yellow and White transformer wires that are all ready connected.

Thanks,

Jim R.
