Just started getting the pool ready yesterday. We have been having a lot of blooms falling into the pool (pollen season), so I've been vacuuming and skimming organic material from pool. Yesterday pool was somewhat cloudy, today It has just the slightest green hue to it, but generally clear (easily see the bottom). I assume I need to stay the course and wait for chlorine levels to raise. SWG is at 100% since yesterday afternoon when I added 280lbs of Salt. My plan is to add additional salt to get to 3500, and Add Acid for PH to lower and see where we are at tomorrow. I'm going going to leave the TA alone for now, and focus on PH and CL.
Am I on the right plan of patience or is slamming the best option at this point?
Current Levels:
CC-0.6
FC-1.0
PH-7.8
TA-60ppm
CYA-unreadable <30
Salt 2900ppm
