Condensation in filter pressure gauge

Does anyone have a suggestion how to keep condensation and water out of the pressure gauge lens area? Can you put a thin bead of clear caulk around the edge of the plastic lens where it snaps onto the gauge?

What I like about the glycerin-filled gauge, is that it only goes up to 30 lbs and is much easier to read pressures in the 5 to 25 PSI range.

Huh. This is what I dislike about my new gauge. I didn't notice it only went to 30 when I ordered it. My filter tank can handle 50 psi and I want to see that on the gauge. If pressure exceeds 30 (probably only while priming) I can't tell by how much.

My normal pressure is like 1 or 2 lbs.. So 30 is plenty high for me..
