The flow switch (PN - 520736) has a temperature sensor builtin, when the flow switch fails, you know because the SWG stops working with "No Flow" light on. But when the "Temperature Sensor" acts up, the PPM reading for salts becomes incorrect.

How to test?
Access the flow switch, cut the four wires,
Temp Sensor = Measure between White and Green wires ohms on 10K scale of multimeter - Should be 10K at room temp. 8K or 12K is bad. 9K or 11K are questionable.
Flow switch = Measure open or closed with multimeter, between Red and Black wires as you move. flow switch lever.

Jerry,

Close... the temp switch measures the water temp.. You can actually find the standard 10K thermister chart on the internet that will tell you exactly what the resistance valve should be, depending on your water temperature. It is a pretty standard item..

Thanks for the heads up..
