100 is the limit of the CYA test, so you have to do a diluted test. Mix 50% pool water with 50% tap water. Use this mixed sample as your test water. Multiply the result by 2 for your CYA level.

Then determine how much water you need to exchange to lower your CYA to 40 ppm.

The pH needs to be raised now. What TA are you reading?

I’m using the Taylor K-2006C kit & the first steps for TA test says it should turn green & mine as red so I’m not sure what that means
 
Your heavy use of trichlor has acidified your water. Your TA is zero. Your pH most likely in the 4's.
 
Are you going to follow TFPC or the pool store? Last year you had similar issues.

You need to do a fairly sizable water exchange. Do you plan to do that?
