Hi everyone! I am pretty new here so learning lots. My pool has been difficult this year. I’m either battling a leaky liner, cloudiness or algae. I’ve been in a SLAM for well over a week. The green is gone but like every other time, it stays cloudy. I’d like to close it up but they say must be clear to close it. I’m getting new liner in Spring so does it really matter if I close it cloudy? Thanks for any input!

Do you have the measurements for the new liner? They need a clear pool to take measurements. Otherwise, no, the pool water does not need to be clear if you plan to drain it next spring.

Yes. They have to see the bottom to measure the walls, slopes, etc. Unless you are getting it from the same manufacturer that has your liner design on record. Talk to the company selling you the liner.
