Im trying to vacuum my pool and the suction is too strong. My vacuum head keeps sucking to the bottom of the pool and I can’t move it. We’ve changed vacuum heads, different hose. Not sure whats going on. It wasnt doing this last year.
Are you using a hose connected to one of the skimmers (assuming you have two)? If so, trying closing the valve to that skimmer a little bit. That will reduce the suction to that that skimmer while increasing it to the other or if you have a main drain, send more suction to the main drain.
oh sorry, never mind. I am not familiar with how an above ground pool with one filter works. No way to reduce the flow of the line? Do you have any type of valve you can close 1/2 way?
