i have popups and i think the one in the middle of my spa is clogged. i'm not sure how to get it fixed, i pulled the popup and it had a lot of calcium so i cleaned it but its still not working and no water is coming out. any ideas?
I only know what my gut says..............see if you can find the manual to the system and see how they say to clean it out. If there was that much stuff on the popup its self then I bet there is all kinds of stuff on the stuff from the pop up inside the line.
If you pullled the pop-up, the pipe is basically open. But that doesn't mean water will just start coming out of it. Most infloor systems are set up as zones - only certain pop-ups pop up at any given time. You may just have to leave the system running for a few minutes - maybe up to 10 or so - until the water vavle cycles to the zone you pulled the pop-up from. Leave the pop-up out for right now to be sure you are getting flow out of the pipe. Just hang out a while by the pool and monitor the spa area.
