I have a Saratoga Spas Hot tub and the constant circulating pump keeps shutting off randomly in the hot weather. (There are no circulation pump adjustments from the user menu, so nothing has changed in the menu. We run at 100-101 F in the winter and 95-96 F in the summer.)

It has been very hot and sunny here (>90 F every day), so that may be a cause, but that doesn't seem too extreme.

If I wake up the menu, the circulation pump starts up for about 10-15 minutes and then shuts off again. There are no error codes.
I have noticed that the water temperature is running about 3 degrees F above the current 95 F setpoint, just due to the sun load and high ambient temperature. The heater does not appear to be running (The water never gets above the 104 F temperature where a safety might kick in).

The main jet pumps run fine.

I am just curious if this normal operation or if my circulation pump overheating. The fact that waking the control panel menu restarts it is curious.

It's called "summer logic", and it turns off all heat-producing equipment (such as the circ pump) and may engage a blower if present to prevent overheating when the tub reaches 3 degrees above set temp.

normal operation
Yep.
