Hey everyone. Thanks in advance for your help.
I have the Nature2 Fusion System that was installed with the initial build. I no longer use the mineral system. I primarily use liquid chlorine, but the chlorine tab feeder system on the Nature2 Fusion does come in handy when we are out of town.
The manual says to only use trichlor tablets. The first year I had the pool that’s what I used but the CYA levels rose to over 100 by the end of the season and I had to partially drain the pool. I don’t want to do that again.
When I use the tablet feeder system, can I use chlorine tabs without the CYA instead of the trichlor tabs? I don’t know the reason why the manual says to only use trichlor. Since I primarily use liquid chlorine, the trichlor tabs wouldn’t raise CYA too much the few times we would need to use it, but I am still curious as to why the manual says you can only use trichlor.
