Adding back salt after the no drain exchange. Putting salt near main drain and chlorinator is off. Put check system high salt amp warning came on. What steps next?

What does your test kit say? How long has the salt mixed? What level are you expecting?

Most likely, the salt caused the amperage to spike above 8 amps.

Always turn off the cell when adding salt.

Brush the pool to get any salt off the floor.

BTW the pool math app predicted exactly how many bags to go from 400 ppm to 3500 ppm. Great app!!
