Chapel Hill NC Build of our own design

F378EED8-8C67-4BFB-9AFF-1A2969291488.jpgThings are really falling into place now. The tile was grouted this week. We chose a medium gray grout. Electrical and pavers are scheduled next week. I’m also hoping the columns for the fire bowls get started. Below are pictures of the pavered equipment pad that my hubby made and another pool shot.

Brentr,
We considered a vanishing edge, but the dog really likes to run along the back fence chasing mountain bikers on the trails below. There was not enough room for both.

Really [emoji50] the dog can find another place to run [emoji2]

Hey Kim,
The plaster is on order and should be in next week. We are likely to be scheduled within the next two weeks. I’m actually looking forward to brushing.....it’s been a long build but I am happy with the results so far.:D

I have made up a new set of links for new plaster and how to make sure you get a good job done. I am still tweaking it. Let me know how it feels to you. Too much? Too little? Too many choices?

Next best start up BUT it leaves out to NOT put water in the pool right away. Wait at least 6 hours after plaster is put in before putting water in! The back of the card is what you want: Start-up Cards - National Plasterers Council

I think we are on the home stretch. 4731AC4E-A852-4E51-81C8-CC6F0CA76306.jpgD4FBE03A-D9DB-4C56-B992-8812D3F3A357.jpg

The stone columns are going in tomorrow for the fire bowls and fountains. Electrical is finishing up early next week and the fencing will be done next Friday. As long as the inspections go well, plaster gets done by the end of next week. The backyard has been a mud pit for so long that I will be super excited to have grass and plants again. :kim:

Oh, the three gray trash can looking things in the rocks are Pentair magicstream laminars.
