Get them some gatoraid and yummies and hang around! Make sure they have all of the correct stuff............we just had one build where they used round main drains instead of the channel one he asked for. They are going to have to jackhammer out his new gunite to fix it
Awesome! It looks so good. Love seeing the render and the shell next to each other. It's coming to life! Happy watering! At least 7 days isn't too bad. We were 14 and the novelty did start to wear off towards the end.
SWEET!!! That looks awesome. Did they offer any ideas or concerns?
You can set up a sprinkler to help you water it some.
Do you know what time it is??? Time for YOUR own set of links!!! It is a lot of info so take it slow. It will all start to stick when you start using it:
Motleymn,
I wanted a pool built for a long time so any pool is exciting. This one isn’t very big since our yard is small. It is 34’ long by 17.5’ wide at the deep end. The depth goes from 4ft to 8.5ft. We threw in the swim jets for more exercise options in the shallow end. The jump board will have very little spring since it is only 8.5 ft deep.

Thank Kim! The pool school is a remarkable wealth of information. I even purchased the book.
I’m using the TFP test kit but will let you know what test kit my pool builder is using
We had one pool builder give the new pool owners a SAMPLE set of guess strips as their "testing kit"!! Most give the Taylor 2005 which is an okay test kit but misses the better FC test that can test for higher than 5ppm.
The owner of the gunite company recommended a drip/soaker hose along the wall for watering. After some trial and error to find the best hose, we settled on this one: https://www.amazon.com/Flexon-50-Foot-Three-Sprinkler-FS50/dp/B0016AJC5W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520605542&sr=8-1&keywords=flexon+three+tube+hose
You just point the white line towards the concrete and turn it on. Simple and works well. The black soaker hoses with all the holes would only water about half the pool. The water came out of the first half but not the second half of the hose. We have it running all day with the spigot barely cracked open.
We’ve been stoned
Things are finally starting to move along with the build. We have had a few weeks of not much getting done but I think that is pretty standard for builds in my area due to high demand. Our builder has plaster scheduled in two weeks. Seems a little optimistic but we will see. Hopefully everything continues to go well.

I forgot to add that I love the tile. It is blingy even with the protective wrapping.
That was cool! Love seeing your build. Nice design. Looks way bigger than your stats say. We're a few weeks behind you - just a big hole in the ground right now. We also have VERY limited space - tiny yard in SoCal. Love to see what others have done with limited space. Yours looks awesome!
