Typically a pump that will not prime is either due to water level too low in pool, a suction side air leak (typically the pump basket lid gasket is not properly lubed).
Provide us some more information and our members can very likely guide you to resolving your issue.

Is your pool above or below your equipment?
Is there water in the skimmer, and is the water level 1/2 way up the skimmer opening?
Are there any valves before the pump? Are they open?
Are the drain plugs & o-rings put into the drains on the pump? Did you lubricate them? (please us a silicone lube, not a ptfe lube)
Is there an o-ring on the pump lid? Did you lubricate it? (please us a silicone lube, not a ptfe lube)
Did you put water in the pump before you started the pump?
Answer to these questions and a couple pictures of your equipment would really help us.
