Help!! My new Intex vinyl pool is covered in black ashes from last night's campfire! What would be the best and safest way to remove the little black spots?

Skim them out manually with a net or automatically with a suction skimmer. Does your pool have a skimmer?

Big enough to skim with a fine mesh tool? If not - then the filter will need to do the work, or vacuum to waste if available.
I'm going to skim the ashes off the top of the water with a net. The pool is a new set up and the sand filter is not running yet. We just got power ran to it, and we are installing a skimmer later today.
I need to know what I can use to wash the ashes off the vinyl liner, inside and out, that won't harm it or the water.

Rinse it off & filter it out.
Once you get the skimmer going you can use a skimmer sock to keep the gunk out of your filter.
