I have a quality test kit. My CH is 0 I guess because the instruction said after I add the 20 drops of reagent it supposed to turn red. It never turned red it stayed clear. So does that mean 0 CH?

When I just back washed this came out for about five minutes
Thanks for your response and your help. This is all new to me so I’m getting it but there still a ton to learnReal dirty filter. Good that you backwashed.
I would deep clean that filter before I tried to make it another season. Backwash works but it is not 100% effective and you have had a REAL MESS in your filter. There is an article in Pool School that shows you how to deep clean. When I just back washed this came out for about five minutes
Hey there BenI notice you're using the K-1005 test kit. That kit is missing an important element you need: the FAS-DPD chlorine tester which measures FC and CC up to 50ppm.
I'd suggest just picking that missing part up and your kit will be comparable to the K-2006 kit. It is important to have that one additional element, seriously

Are there any test strips out there you trust are accurate?
