Bubbles after pouring Walmart Clorox bleach

Poured my first liquid chlorine (Walmart Clorox bleach) into pool

Much bubbles …

Any way to do it without making so many bubbles?

Do not use Clorox bleach, it has polymers and will cause these issues.

Any reason you didn't use the walmart Pool Essentials Liquid chlorine that was recommended.

If you HAVE to use bleach, NO CLOROX, no scents, no softeners, no nothing. Better to use liquid chlorine.

Chlorinate appropriately, and the chlorine will clean up the polymers.

Basically I went to Walmart - asked a guy about the picture I showed him (pool chlorine) and said “oh bleach, here it is” and I didn’t check

Don't sweat the Clorox bubbles, may take a couple days, but the real chlorine will eventually take care of the polymers.

If you have a Rural King nearby they sell 10% chlorine by the 4 gallon case. $16.99 per case or $4.25 per gallon. I’ve been using it since converting to TFP & liquid chlorine and my numbers are usually spot on or a hair higher than the Pool Math app estimate.
