Broken Threads on Spa Return

Is this return serviceable? I can't tell if this is glued or if it is removable like the pool returns. There are no inside removal channels like the pool returns yet there is some type of union.

I see you posted this question a few days ago with no replies. Not sure if you resolved it yet, but I'll ask @RDspaguy if he can help confirm.

You will need to use a hacksaw blade and cut three or four slices around that piece left in the pipe return. Next use a few different size flat head screw drivers to pry out those pieces . I'm sure they are threaded. If you destroy everything up in that return like with a hammer you can always just use a return plug and start over.....https://frankwall.com/product/the-frankenplug/
