Broken Diving Board

I have an older diving board that had a single spring in the front and the diving board connects to the rear of the base (the two upsidedown Us) via a metal rod that get screwed to the diving board and the supports.

The metal rod snapped and I am having a hard time finding a replacement in part because I'm not sure what the part is called. Any ideas where I can purchase a new metal rod (pivot?)?
