Brand new ABG and pump it is squealing.

Hi we have had our ABG pool for 3 weeks now. We have 28 ft. Round with a carvin pool pump and sand filter. When the pump is set to low there is no squealing at all but once we turn it on high it starts squealing really loud. Any ideas what this could be? If it was the bearings wouldn't it make the same sound on low?

If it only 3 weeks old it should not be making any kind of noise. I would be calling the installer/pool builder asap. This should be covered warranty.

3 weeks old, warranty issue. If you touch the housing front and back and either or both ends are heating up on high it is a bearing problem.
It may also be caused by a suction side leak, pump skimmer basket being the prime culprit most of the time. Is the o-ring/gasket in place and lubed? Recurring bubbles in the pump skimmer basket?
