I am getting rust spots in my deep end of pool. I thoght they may come up by using a Vitamin C tablet, but no luck , look like tough rust dot stains. Any help on these?

Any chance the rust colored spots are bleeding through from below? Maybe from rebar? Do you have a strong magnet you could rub against the stain to see if it tries to grab and stick there?
that it what i am worried about, but i dont think showing enought to use a magnent to see, but thanks for your take
Did you figure out how to get rid of them? I'm thinking I have the same issue-maybe something underneath the liner. Tried scrubbing them with vitamin c tabs and didn't make tiny bit of difference.
