Blown Pentair 520 top AND housing

Blown Pentair 520 Cartridge Filter, I think about 40 lbs pressure. (2 HP Intelliflo) Looks like it was dead headed against shutoff valve to the Solar. Has never happened before. 11ys old. Will be replacing with Pentair 100 DE. Does anyone know of a pressure bypass valve I can put in to make sure it does not repeat, while I am gone I don't blow the new DE filter?

The Caretaker bypass valve is a 30 lb (psi) check valve.

If you install it in parallel, it will begin bypassing at 30 psi.
