Something May Have To Die.
Found that spa main drain line has a leak somewhere. Which pretty much sucks bad.
Have had to run the pool returns through the spa/spillway in order to keep new pebble plaster submerged in the spa while the world bakes us at around 90° this week. In the process I was losing about 1-3000" of water an hour out of the spa.
Currently spa drains are plugged at the spa and spa is holding water, confirming said leakage.
Although, looking at it, it could be the light niche? It is confusing because the pool waterline is exactly where the water drops in the spa.

Here are the drains plugged.
Should know in a while if it is working...
Hopefully it is the light niche. I think that would be an easier fix...

Good news is that the pool seems to be holding water just fine after I sealed off the broken autofill line.
If the spa main line does have a leak, I have found that the spa booster pump line does not seem to have a leak.
So, here are a couple of scenarios we be working on...
1.) Cut spa booster pump pipe and route it to spa in. Spa works booster dies.
2.) Cut spa booster pump pipe and "t" into both pumps add check valve to each. Both work but might blow up.
3.) Use spa booster pump line for spa main drain. Somehow fix spa drain pipe and use it as booster line.
4.) Fill spa with sand and insert umbrella.
5.) Fill margarita glass and insert umbrella.
oh and today's other issue...
