I have the same problem. Right now I use an attachment on the hose to manually vacuum the trough. Its $14 at a hardware or pool store. Mounts on end of hose and water velocity pushes dirt into net bag. Does nothing to clarify water. Its a pain and time consuming. I was thinking of buying a wireless battery powered vacuum but it might not be able to navigate in a narrow channel.
