Bad salt cell?

I have an in ground salt water pool with a Hydrazzo pool finish and a Hayward Swim Pure Plus with a t-15 salt water cell. When ever I add any chlorine stabilizer

to the pool the t-cell stops up with white sediment in a few days. I when out of town for a little over a week and the t-cell was stopped up solid.

I started the acid wash late in the day and it was taking forever to clean the cell so I let it soak over night. Now it reads a very low salt level.

It tests around 3800 but will only read about 2700. Could the long acid wash have damaged the t-cell or could there be something going bad in my panel?

How are you testing your pool water? Can you post a full set of results from your test kit, including salt?

I guess I was pool stored, the pool stores keep telling me I have to use Chlorine Stabilizer but every time I do my T-cell stops up in about a week with white powdery material which I suspect is my pool finish.

What about my T-cell, could the long acid wash have damaged the T-cell?

Yes, entirely possible, especially if you let it soak overnight.

You likely have high TA and CH, which causes your CSI to be high. High CSI is indicates the potential for scaling.

Get the test kit so we can figure out the cause of the scaling.

Do this, turn the cell on at 100%. Wait about 2 minutes, then do this diagnostic and report back

I'll get a new water sample tomorrow at Leslies and look into getting one of those test kits.
