Automatic chlorination setting

Going to use my basic Pentair inline feeder when I am gone for a week. How many 3 “ tabs and what setting (1-5)? Normally have used BBB method. Thanks

Use a floating dispenser.

What is your current CYA? Your signature shows you use pool store testing. Not TFPC method.

OK -- 5 8 oz tablets will raise your CYA by about 10 ppm. So you will end up at 60 ppm.

It will be impossible to add enough chlorine each day with tablets. But you may get by for a week. Fill the floating dispenser.

Be sure to have your pH and TA on the high end as the tablets will lower both of those.

No idea. Unless you run the pump 24/7, never use an inline feeder.
