Other than the DE or sand particles I guess, what is the reason for only a cartridge filter being specified here. Not sure why PB didn't spot this as I would assume warranty would now be in jeopardy.

Small particles can be difficult or impossible to clean out of the laminars.

Builders and installers often seem to not be familar or read the Installation Manuals.
