You can manually use the valve, if you pull up (or push down) on the valve handle. I can't remember which, and I don't have that style of actuator.

The Actuator is bad and I have not changed it out yet.

I found this on Amazon. I’d rather use a Jandy one but I can get this one tomorrow. Have you ever used Tork products?

I have not used that one, but I suspect it will work just fine.. Cheap enough to just give it a try.
