Just wondering if anyone has roughly the same cover set up as we do. We just spent about 10K on a retro-fit Coverstar Eclipse auto cover ( The 10K is with me doing the concrete work
). The cover measures 24.5x40 feet...wider than most auto covers for a 20x40' inground. The reason for the increased width is the steps entering the pool from the side of the shallow end.
I have had nothing but problems so far....including clutch slippage, uneven cover travel, GFI breaker tripping atc. The intaller has been out here at least 4 times readjusting clutch pressure, rope length, roller tention blah blah blah. The end result is a $10,000 pool cover that doesn't consistantly cover the %$@*&% pool! :grrrr:
I'll take some pics and post them to give you a better idea of what's going on.
.....a little frustrated!
