Keep at it, The more often the better, no more often than every 2 hours.
OK so I got my CYA in range, it had been low but I was adding so much chlorine I thought I was offsetting it. It actually looked considerably better this morning when I got up. So I topped off the chlorine again and ran the vacuum to get debris off the bottom And now it’s cloudier than it’s been yet.
Please tell me running the vacuum and getting the water stirred up is the cause and that this is normal.
I really really wanted sparkling pretty water for the Fourth of July weekend lol

how big is your pool? I see in your signature 4025 gallons is all. Curious what size your pump is as well, my little secret recently was the "turnover of water" per Hayward on gallons and the hours it takes. It sure seems it has helped with everything. Although I question why "Crud" still don't circulate and filter out during those 8-10 hours after a vaccum as well. Example of mine with the picture.

I have the intex sx2800.
2800 gph.
My pool is 14 x 48 and actually when I bought this pump it listed it as the appropriate size for 18 feet diameter and larger. So yes I am at a loss why it is not clearing this water up faster. And this is only the second year using this pump and it’s got a heck of a output on it so I know its functioning well. Also zeolite is the medium and also only 2 yrs old
Might be a myth but I can tell you if it's running 24/7 after a manual vac and a robot and Crud is still in there then something isn't working for any turnover.
Thank goodness the skimmer socks catch the dirt and 100 beetles the last 10 hours.

Not bad. But 1984 was a long time ago. With my personal experience running it as they said don't work for me. Sure maybe since it was so cold and I couldn't brush and vaccum daily was my issue. I don't know. I really wanted the 2-4 hours a day of circulation and running the pump to work but the results proved otherwise.

So page 4, #1...seems contradictory. If agitation is present (pump and circulation) then that would NOT occur with sinking to the bottom of present in those 3 hours. So run the pump more to solve that issue of one is effected, no?

Can you restate your question in another way, I don't understand what you are asking.
Well today is officially one week with zero change. Not even the slightest hint of improvement. I guess that it could take a week or two with a sand filter but it is now at one week and I don’t have any improvement. I would think I should be showing SOME signs of improvement. Thank you for your help but after the holiday is over I’m putting it up on marketplace to come get it for free because this type of work and expense is not worth it for a pool I can’t even useKeep at it, The more often the better, no more often than every 2 hours.
Yes that is sad considering every single component is brand new this year, but from a financial standpoint, I’m in the hole for a pool I can’t even use.
Don't give up. Whats the zero change you're seeing in person. Do you have any logs you missed. Cya 0 to 40 and FC etc?

How often are you testing and replacing FC? Your target should be 20 FC, with a CYA of 50.
Yeah you can’t really go by that log because once I got everything where it needed to be I quit adding logs I just kept adjusting the chlorine and seeing how much I needed to add.
Even though that log is dated today it’s actually from about two weeks ago
All of my numbers are within normal range and have been for several days.
Again I just keep adjusting the free chlorine and using the slam option to tell me how much I need to add
What I’m noticing is that the water is not getting any less cloudy. At all. If anything it gets more cloudy on occasion. I have literally been checking it every two hours and on some nights setting my clock to get up at the crack of dawn to check it again. It’s just not worth it

OK I just did a complete test. I’m on my phone so I can’t see how to attach it but can’t you click on my name and view it?
A couple of notes on it. Ignore the one that said 606 alkalinity obviously. My fat finger hit the six by mistake and it should only be 60.
Also I stayed at a friends last night and I’m just now getting back to the pool so my chlorine is very low for the slam but I have added what I needed to get it back up
