Another pool north of Dallas

I finally told our PB that whatever timing he gave me I was adding to because he was never correct and never had the guts to come and tell me before hand, during or after. I only knew because the time passed and I only got an explanation when I asked why it passed.

Sod was installed this morning - Contract included two pallets, which is what we would have needed if the contractors had not destroyed the yard by driving all over it. At one point I had four trucks parked in my backyard. Totally annoyed, Mr. PB and I will have a discussion about this.

I know you would! Funny thing is, Mr. PB had told us very few people need more than two and they are very careful about not destroying the yard. Sod installer told me today this PB is always the one that underestimates how much will be needed and the one that does the most damage. Hmmmm...not a warm a fuzzy feeling, makes me wonder what else he fudged on.

I went with the Summerset TRL 32" grill.

We really had a good experience with Premier in Frisco. Didn't get quite the same service when we stopped by the Plano store, but the Frisco guys were great. If you do look at Premier, you should ask if your PB has a discount with them. Our PB was Riverbend Sandler and that got us an additional 10% off. (We still purchased through Premier, just got the RBS discount.)

I'm not sure how to handle this one or if it's fixable so I need some advice. My son and GF were out yesterday with their dogs playing frisbee in the yard when the frisbee landed in the still empty pool. After retrieving it, both mentioned how steep and narrow the steps are, I thought so too when I was watering the gunite, but I'm old and never having a pool before didn't know if this is normal. What do you all think, are your steps narrow and steep, will it matter once it's filled? Is it possible to add more gunite at this late date to widen them, if so, would that be an issue/cause problems later?

Hello

The steps do not look steep but do look narrow, are you going to fit a hand rail. Experts on here will be able to tell you if it is difficult to adjust the steps and I bet the pb will charge a good fee. If you are unhappy with the steps talk to your pb he might have a solution. Let us know your solution. Thanks
