We have an appraiser coming next week for our HEL.

That's good to hear about the appraisal and builder C. They are someone you hadn't considered previously?So... Somehow we ended up with a Pool Builder C today. I called two sprinkler companies yesterday to see about getting bids and one of them said we just couldn't sign a pool contract without talking to this builder first. He works with four pool builders in the area but this one, he would hire to do his own. I thought, well, why not. Certainly can't hurt.
So, she came out to meet with me today - she is designer/engineer, and her husband is project manager. I really did like them and she's supposed to have a design for me this weekend. We'll see what they come back with.
On another totally happy note, our appraiser FINALLY submitted the improvement appraisal correctly (he sent it in late the first time and as-is instead of with improvements). :happydance: House appraised for higher than expected so we can harden our budget now and hopefully do everything we want to do.

Oh, and I'm curious as to whether you decided on a landscape/ irrigation company?
Why are you going to get rejected? Our HOA made us add drainage out to the street, but we did get approved quickly after resubmissionHopefully that will speed up the process a bit! Can't wait to get design and bid from PB-C so we can make the final tweaks and decisions and get submitted to HOA. That's potentially 45 days and we already know we're going to get rejected and need an appeal (that is "likely to be approved.")

Both are bling so both are good LOL. Ummmm would be a good one to ask this question of. Have you read his pool build? If not it is a sad, long, happy one!
