Day 2. Finally tested today and so pleased! Our heater won't be hooked up for another 2-3 weeks, so April will belong to the dogs for swimming. Thanks again to @kimkats for the hair net recommendation - they worked like a charm last year! But I left them in our shed all winter and the elastics were no longer good. Just ordered a new batch arriving today. Need to grab some salt (but the SWCG isn't on yet), but that's about it for right now.

Sooooooooo incredibly happy and thankful to have found TFP!

Glad the hair nets worked for you! They are a MUST if you have dogs or long hair!

Salt=diamond day! Add the salt with the kids can/will get in the pool. It looks like diamonds floating down through the water. Their swimming and playing will help mix it in!

Wait until about 24 hours after you add the salt before you turn on the SWG to make sure it is mixed in good.

The bulldogs are royal turds and go bonkers over anything that moves. They finally settle down enough to be allowed outside when Fred the robot is on. Haha

I'm in Central PA and we'll open ours in a week or two. I am hoping our pool looks as good as yours when we take that cover off. Last year when the prior owner opened it, it was green as green can be so your pool gives me hope!
