We recently experienced soma algae issues that left stains on the bottom of the pool. Does anyone have a technique to remove the stains. I've tried brushing which helps, but doesn't completely remove the stains.

If the stains are organic, then usually increasing and maintaining the FC level a little higher, coupled with consistent scrubbing, helps. You can test that theory by carefully rubbing a chlorine tablet around in the area and watching for changes. Do you have a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test to share a full set of test results to be sure? FYI - Here at TFP we follow the SLAM Process to ensure algae is killed and removed.
