ill bubblingCheck your work for leaks..... and it may be residual air from opening the system up and will pass.
Common spot for air to get in is the pump cover. Check all connections.

So my basket seal is well lubed. There are two drain plugs on the pump one in front and one on the side. I noticed the one in the side when I tighten it Doesn’t get tight meaning I feel it getting tight then it will just loosen up again. I put Teflon in it but doesn’t stop it looks like a drip every 3 seconds. Do you know if the smaller plug goes in the side or in front of the basket? They seem to be the same diameter but one looks smaller.Did you use pool lube on the basket cover oring? Also check the drain port orings.
I’m sorry, just the motor was replaced not that woke assembly. And looks like no O ring on this nut though before swapping the motor there wasn’t an air issue since I started the pool up last month. That pump does not look new. You said you replaced the pool pump.
The drain plugs are the same size I believe. No teflon tape should be used on them. They should have a oring for the seal.
I actually found the plug that had the O ring on it from my box of pool parts thanks for bringing that up otherwise I would’ve never thought of that. Not sure what it can be then. I don’t see no water leaking from the motor where it meets the housing.Hard to say on an old pump. If the plug will not tighten, it is likely time for a new wet end.
I ran a few seconds on backwash then 10 seconds on rinse and back to filter and it’s gone. Right now she’s throwing tiny air bubbles that I can only see breaking the surface but before it was a stream of air I could see visually from the returns. Let’s see if these tiny air bubbles fade away.Air in the pump basket is a leak on the suction side. So concentrate there.
Bubbles are back again. So the basket top shows bubbles forming, weirs are both good. Skimmers are not sucking air. The air coming out of both returns is pulsating shooting out like , pop pop pop.How does the pump basket look? Is it full? Any bubbles?
Take a look in the skimmer to make sure you sucking air. Check water level and make sure the weir door is not stuck.
Fixed, it was sucking air at this joint of the pump I guess from me moving it while working on the motor. Had to put my ear to it to hear a tiny whistle. Not one bubble visible in the pump lid.Air in the pump basket is a leak on the suction side. So concentrate there.
