I was hoping maybe I can get a few ideas for troubleshooting my pool. I have a 28000 gal inground pool with a Hayward DE filter and 2hp standard pump. When I woke up today, I noticed air coming from the jets and my pump constantly cycling up and down with all of the air in the line. This has always been impacted by two factors: clogged or obstructed skimmers or low water levels. I fill the pool to max capacity and clean the skimmers and the issue still persists. I checked the plumbing for any visible leaks and nothing.
Any idea on what I should be looking for now that the obvious has been checked off? It was running just fine yesterday. I’ve recently cleaned the filter and reassembled and replaced a damaged hose on the in-line chlorinator, but all looks to be in working condition. It ran for the last week without incident, so I’m not sure where to look now.
