I was hoping maybe I can get a few ideas for troubleshooting my pool. I have a 28000 gal inground pool with a Hayward DE filter and 2hp standard pump. When I woke up today, I noticed air coming from the jets and my pump constantly cycling up and down with all of the air in the line. This has always been impacted by two factors: clogged or obstructed skimmers or low water levels. I fill the pool to max capacity and clean the skimmers and the issue still persists. I checked the plumbing for any visible leaks and nothing.

Any idea on what I should be looking for now that the obvious has been checked off? It was running just fine yesterday. I’ve recently cleaned the filter and reassembled and replaced a damaged hose on the in-line chlorinator, but all looks to be in working condition. It ran for the last week without incident, so I’m not sure where to look now.

Can you please fill out a signature line (Found under Settings) describing your pool, size, all equipment in use, how you chlorinate and how you test?
This helps us answer your question. Have you checked around the yard for any wet spots which may indicate a leak. How's your water level been? Not losing any more than normal, are you?

There is a video floating around but I can’t find it 🙄
Basically while watching your pump basket for air get a water hose and run water over all the intake valves joints etc.
If any of them are sucking air when you cover it with water it will stop or get better.

Hard to describe but will keep looking for the video

Found the video, I used it once an
It works

I recently changed my spider gasket, but I cannot see any water going in to my waste line. My levels have been dropping, but it’s been 100+ degrees this week, so it’s been hard to tell what is “normal” for evaporation.

There is no standing water in the yard. I wish I could figure this out without digging up all of the lines, but right now, I don’t know what my options are. I checked the pump lid and lubed it up, and I’m going to soap down overs connection and see if I come up with anything. But this is a LOT of air… I can’t imagine it’s just a small leak

If you're getting bubbles, it's a suction side leak so you won't see any water in the yard.
