We were just told our pool company missed installing an aerator. We have a water feature which they same will work as well as an aerator. We live in Arizona and did not install a heater or cooler. Do we need the aerator?
Welcome to the forum!
What kind of water feature?
I do not have an aerator and our pool never gets crazy warm. Has a lot to do with pool surface color. Lighter is cooler.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
We put one in just because. We had one on our last pool and rarely used it. If we did use it, it was more for a fun sprinkler in the pool for the kids to play in. I wouldn’t stress too much about it. You could always hook up a hose to a sprinkler right next to the pool and it would do the same thing if the water got too warm.
The water feature will do the trick. Without a water feature I would say you have to have one to play with your PH when needed.
My water feature does a good job of cooling my pool.
