Adding chemicals

Hi guys,

I need to raise my FC and lower my PH.

Can I add liquid chlorine and Muriatic acid at the same time or should I wait some time between each.

If I should add them at separate times, what should I add first?

You need to wait about as long as it takes to put the cap back on the chlorine bottle...

This assumes that you are adding chemicals with the pump running and in front of a pool return.

You would never want to mix full strength chlorine with MA in a container, but once you dump them in the pool, they are diluted to the point where it no longer matters.

How long to wait between adding pool chemicals

The wait times between adding pool chemicals is usually around 10 minutes each, as that is also sufficient time for the chemicals to mix in the water.
