I would like to find out if there is anything that is best for me to add to water when closing for the winter, that will remove dark, and yellow stains from the vinyl liner water line on the border.

So, you are saying it's too late to try to remove, or lighten the stains at the water line now? I believe the stains to be organic from skin oils, tanning lotion, etc.

It takes some time treating stains, circulating the water, and filtering to tackle stains.

It’s not too late if you have some time before closing.
