A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

Here are the pavers we originally thought were the driveway match. I couldn't find the ones they had put by the pool so I took the pic from the pallet. The problem was the brown. Existing do not have brown (except for dirt!). These are Antique Buff.



Here is what we now think they should be. These are Antique Terra Cotta.

I like the Antique Terra Cotta much better. The brown ones make it look "dirty" LOL The ATC ones blend much better together.

I am totally impressed with those brass covers! We were looking at ours yesterday and they are plastic. I remember someone having their plastic ones replaced with ceramic.
And Kim, I agree. The terra cotta color is very nice. I can't wait to see the finished look.

I think I like the wider bowl one. The smaller one is pretty but I like the bowl better.

This brass covers look so high class! Just be careful about stepping on them in the summer if they are hot.

Kim, I had thought about that even before I saw it more as a urinal. I think it wouldn't look that way in a different color. I actually like them both. Sent hubby the pics I posted and he liked the Polynesia.

Bmore, was that what you were referring to? Sometimes I can be a bit slow on the uptake.... I normally "get" your sense of humor!

I like the Polynesia! The bowl makes me think of a bird bath for some reason. Pretty though!

And I think bmore's point is that kids will use them as climbing handholds, as kids want to do.

That's correct. Some pools specifically have handhold tiles built into raised bind beams for safety.
