Well, I finally started to clean the rust stains on the floor of my pool with vitamin C tablets. It worked pretty well but my issue is I am having a hard time staying under the water deep enough to use the tablets. The pool is 3 feet to 5 feet deep. I keep floating to the top. How can I stay near the floor of the pool to clean the stains?

Another topic is since day one of the new plaster of my new pool there has been this blotch on the floor of the pool. I never addressed this to the PB. I don't know if this is a big issue or not. Some pics are attached to show what I am talking about. The surface is the same texture of the rest of the bottom. Should I try to remove this blotch of just let it be? Also, any idea how it got there? Thanks.

Take a barbell down with you and hold on with one hand. DO NOT ATTACH WEIGHT TO YOUR PERSON.

The blotch is a footprint.

Put Vitamin C in a sock and tie it to the end of your pool pole or pool brush to run it along the bottom on the stains.

That is a good idea. What weight would you suggest? I am 6'1" 182 lbs.

I have been looking at that blotch since November. It was not until I took those pics today that I said to myself, wow that looks like a footprint lol. Thanks for your reply.

Usually for diving, 6-8% is the right weight in freshwater, but without a wet suit, who knows??? My guess...5-15 lbs. I had a guy that was, self admittedly, overweight about 2 months ago needing to clean his main drain...I think he used 10lbs. Start with 5, doesn't work, up it. Science in action!
