2 speed pump runs at low speed only

Having installed a new motor to replace one that died, both circuits run the motor at low speed
The intermattic timer wiring has not been changed and the pump comes on with either manual switch, but runs at same speed on both.

Did you replace a 2 speed pump? Was it the same manufacturer?
