hayword 250btu pool heater

I have a Hayward 250 pool heater. On the control panel when I push the MODE button it will not switch to heat for pool or spa.

I replace the circuit boards in 2013 for the 3rd time, CE error displayed, board corrected this problem. This is a new one any ideas?

What is the heater model number?

display shows nothing, hayward model #h250idl2

Nothing on the display at all, like there's no power?

Check for correct power input and check the fuses on the fuse board.

The mode light is lit but will not change to pool or spa heat mode when the button is pushed

I suspect that the keypad is probably bad.

I said that mode light is lit I meant standby light is lit. When I press mode button it will not change to pool or spa. Awhile back it would stick in a mode, I had to push mode button several times before would switch.

Probably a bad keypad.
