My cya is 0. Do you recommend a liquid or granular stabilizer? And where do you buy it??

Either will work. The liquid is 3X the cost.
I buy my CYA powder at Walmart. 4# containers.
Place in a sock and hang in front of a return. Be sure the sock does not rest on the side of the pool.

I did what poster above said. Although I bought mine at Lowes, just because I was there and didn't want to make the trip to Walmart (probably paid a bit more though). Measured it out and poured it in a sock and hung it in front of the return using zip ties.
My cya is 22, my pool is cloudy. I need to slam. Should i bring to 30 first or can i slam at 22?

Your CYA should be at or near 30 to SLAM.
You cannot test a CYA of 22. The scale of the vial is logarithmic. So when you do the test, fill to a line (say 80), glance for the dot, if you see it, fill to the 70 line, repeat until you no longer see it.
You should raise your FC to SLAM level based on the expected CYA level at the time you are dissolving the CYA powder. No reason to delay.
