thanks everyone! I read somewhere (maybe pool school) that there are advantages to running chlorination during the day when the sun (if any) is on the pool but cant find justification as to why?
Not sure if there are advantages but it is what I do! But I do not have tiered electric rates. If it cost me less to run the pump at night, I would most likely generate my chlorine at night.
The important thing is to keep your FC at target level based on your CYA at all times. So always test your FC right before your SWCG starts generating each day. That should be the lowest your FC is during the day.
