...thinking something was out of place, hearing a low hum in the background? Can't quite place it.... then you remember you threw the hose in the pool for a quick 15 minute topoff.... 2 hours ago? Yeah... uhh.... me neither.....

I have a couple of rent house pools where I used to do the same thing... I'd drive all the way home and then could not remember if I turned the hose off or not...

I just added one of those mechanical timers on the hose bib. The timer works great, but for some reason I now no longer forget to turn it off... Sigh!!!
