Hi - Donated - will I be getting an email with discount codes - planning to buy a TF Test Kit - pool is yet to be built - but thought I could practice using it on my tap water so I can get a hang of it - and as a newbie which kit should I buy? (TF 100 Start up Kit or the TF 100 Start Up Kit XL) - also is there any order in which you do the tests? (pH first?)

I like that TF-100.... if your pool were in, and had gone green I would have said the TF-100XL as it has more reagents one would use during a SLAM. But a new pool should be fine with the standard size. The Speed Stir makes testing a lot faster, and more consistent, so consider one of those if you can afford it.

Heck yeah! Everyone should be a supporter. I became gold last year. 2 days before we were leaving town for vacation a month ago it started going green on me. I did a fast slam and was hoping it would be ok when we got back.
When we got back my wife came in and said "Have you seen the pool?". I said "No, how bad is it?" She said I had to come look. I went outside and it was the clearest we have EVER seen (to where I could see whether a coin was heads or tails in the deep end). All I can say is it is because of what I have learned from TFP!

Newbie to TFO and to owning a pool, so please be patient with me as I attempt to learn how to maneuver the site appropriately. First- I wanted to donate to the TFP to help support this valuable resource of knowledge & assistance that I have discovered available to me at TFP. Just one quick question before I choose my donation amount, I had planned to donate the $100 and be a Good supporter, but after reading the differences between the Gold vs the Bronze supporters my reservation to becoming a Gold supporter is that I believe I would benefit from the VIP members only forums listed under the other supporter Options & I don’t see that listed under the Gold supporter benefits.
