I have a 14yr old pool with a fiberstar 2000 series illuminator. I have no issues with brightness or what I would think is "degraded fiber" that would justify upgrading the system to LEDs.
In my pool, there is one light in the spa and two lights in the main pool.
When the illuminator is turned on - the spa light functions absolutely normally - color is fine and when changed to rotating color - works fine.
main pool light #1 comes on - but does not rotate color.
main pool light #2 does not come on.
anyone seen something like this?
(as a side note - i know i have some issues with the box - the muffin fan is not running at all - and will have to be replaced.)
